Peer-to-Peer Networking Organizations
As part of our mission to share information and support professionals who work in the areas of training, communications, usability, and technology, Fredrickson has founded two professional networking organizations. The mission of these groups is to foster peer-to-peer connections and to facilitate discussion of current topics of interest to the members.
Fredrickson Corporate University Roundtable
The Fredrickson Corporate University Roundtable was founded in 2000 to provide a forum specifically for learning managers and others who hold leadership positions in corporate learning in the Twin Cities area. The Roundtable meets quarterly to discuss trends, initiatives, problems, and solutions related to learning, employee development, technology, strategy, and learning organization leadership. The discussion topics for the meetings are decided with input from an annual member survey. The topics are then finalized by the Program Committee.
The Roundtable’s emphasis is on open, confidential, peer-to-peer discussion. Members are also encouraged to use their network of Roundtable peers whenever they need professional advice or a different perspective on a problem.
Membership in the Fredrickson Roundtable
Currently, there are over 200 active members. There is no membership fee or cost to members. Fredrickson Communications serves as the organizer and the member companies take turns hosting the meetings.
Membership in the Roundtable is by invitation only. Only those who currently hold leadership or managerial positions in corporate learning organizations are eligible for membership. Because the Roundtable is a peer group for leaders of corporate learning organizations, vendors, consultants, and contractors are not eligible for membership.

Intersect: Where public sector communications and technology professionals meet.
The Intersect group provides a forum where communications and web professionals from the public sector can discuss topics pertinent to their roles and projects.
With more and more interaction taking place on the web, it is essential that communications, training, and web technology professionals work together closely and understand more about each other’s roles, processes, and challenges. Yet organizational structures – often created in the pre-web era – sometimes prevent this from happening as easily as it should.
We formed Intersect in 2007 to help public sector peers in IT and communications overcome the challenges, discuss common issues, and learn from each other. The Intersect group meets quarterly. Join us!
Intersect Membership Requirements
Membership in Intersect is by invitation only. To keep the focus of the group on the needs of the professionals it serves, only those who are currently directly employed by a recognized public-sector entity, in an IT or communications role, are eligible for membership. Consultants, vendors, sales associates, and contractors are not eligible for membership in Intersect.
